For Veterinary Personnel:
Once it has been established that the client wishes to proceed with a transfer to a referral practice or an alternative practice, and the referral/alternative practice has confirmed their ability to accept the patient, we will ask you to send us the patient clinical history to ambulance@whiskersnbeans.co.uk this must include both the telephone number and email address.
We will then register the client with us, we will contact them directly to send them a payment link via text and email.
Please note that we will proceed only upon receiving the clinical history and payment. We acknowledge that this stage can be somewhat time-consuming and request that, as soon as the client expresses their intention to proceed, please provide the necessary details as outlined.
For Owners:
When arranging a transfer outside of a veterinary practice, in medical or emergency situations, it is essential to communicate with the destination practice and they confirm their ability to be able see your pet. Please be aware of closing times of practices. You may need to seek additional transfer in the event your chosen practice does not provide 24 hour on-site care.
Please be aware that, due to the nature of our work and the varying distances of referral centers, immediate availability may not always be possible.
We must also adhere to the law; we cannot run red lights or exceed the speed limit.
This will affect our response time.
Kindly take this into consideration with practice closing times.
Kindly be advised that routine transport for animals is generally not provided, as our services are exclusively dedicated to critical patients.
